TIME: Set up at 8am. The show will begin promptly at 9am.

ENTRY FEES: $45.00 per shower. NO SHARED ENTRY FEES! This will include a boxed lunch. Entry must be postmarked by October 12th.

RULES and REGULATIONS

ENTRY LIMITS: Unlimited to the number the shower can place on his/her 4 x 6 foot table!

PER CLASS LIMITS: Three in Performance classes

Four in OF halter, CM/AR halter, Finish and Artist classes

Five in Mini halter

AWARDS: Commercial flat ribbons 1st-6th. Nice rosettes and trophies to overall champs and reserves.

SHOW TABLES: Each shower will receive his/her own 4 x 6 foot table. Show management will try to accommodate those requesting to be seated together. If you have a small showstring and would be willing to share a table, please let me know.

CLASSES: All classes will be open; not limited to skill, age or years of competition.

NAMHSA: This a pending NAMHSA member show. Each 1st and 2nd placing will receive a NAN ticket. This ticket enables that model to attend the NAN show.

SPLITS/COMBINES: MMM reserves the right to split large classes or combine small classes. Chinas will be split into a separate OF class, if there are more than 6 chinas in any one class.

STRINGING: Judges may make a cut in a large class by using the string method. Models without a string must be promptly removed from the ring, when the judge calls for removal.

CALLBACKS: Champs chosen by callback of the 1st and 2nd placing horses. Please keep track of your placing. The horses will be rejudged on individual merit, not points.

TAGS: Please use your 3 given initials on your show tags.

Front of tag: Breed and gender Back of tag: Horses name and your 3 initials

Models must be put into the right with the tag front side up. Horses will be

disqualified if tags are back side up!

SHOW ETIQUETTE: All judges decisions are final. Unsportsmanlike behavior will not be tolerated.

Any one causing a disturbance will be asked to leave with no refund.

REMEMBER- You win some you shouldnt and you lose some you shouldnt!

You may not touch or pick up anyones model without permission by the owner.

If you break an item, be prepared to pay for it.

Children must be with a parent at all times. If your child is acting unruly, you

will be asked to remove him/her from the show to protect other participants

property.

Please listen for announcements. We will have many rings running at once.

No alcohol, smoking, radios or live animals (with the exception of service

animals) within the show hall.

LIABILITY: Security is the responsibility of each exhibitor. The show holder, anyone connected with production of the show or the Thomas Jefferson Hall will NOT be responsible for any loss, damage or personal injury. 

FOALS: Foals may show in their respective foal classes, finish or artist classes. They may not show in stock foals and then in quarter horse.

ORIGINAL FINISH: An original finish model is one which has not been altered in anyway, after leaving the factory, except for minor repairs. This includes: plastic, china and commercially produced resins (H-R, Beswick, Royal Doulton, Northlights, BHR and others).

CUSTOM/ARTIST RESIN: Custom is defined as any model that has been painted, sculpted, melted, reshaped or otherwise remade.  Artist resin is defined as any resin painted by the sculpting artist or offered unpainted, or any original sculpture from which resins have been made.

MINI: Mini refers to Curio scale or smaller in size. This would be 5 inches or smaller.

Minis may show in their mini classes (OF and CM/AR), performance, finish classes and Artist classes.

JACKPOT CLASSES:  The Jackpot classes will be run at lunch time.  There will be one halter and one performance class.  The halter class is open to any size or make horse.  The performance class is open to any type of peformance.  You may enter as many horses as you wish at $2.00 per horse per class.  Awards will be cash payback to the top four horses as follows:  1st- 50%, 2nd- 25%, 3rd- 15%, 4th- 10%.  Payback will be based on entry fees collected.

HALTER JUDGING: Halter horses to be judged on breed standard, conformation and condition/finish. They are not judged on rarity. Decorators and/or unrealistic colors to show in finish classes only.

PERFORMANCE JUDGING: Performance to be judged on horses appropriateness for the task at hand, ability, correct fit and use of tack/props and overall appearance.

If you enter a showmanship entry, you must have a handler. Appropriate headgear also required.

If you enter a harness entry, cart and driver are optional.

All performance entries other than pleasure classes are required to have a card explaining your entry.

CHAMPIONSHIPS: Championships will be judged by call backs. Any model placing 1st or 2nd in a given division will return to the ring to be judged for the champion or reserve of that division. Please keep track of your placings. Judges will judge each horse on individual merit, not on number of ribbons.

TIME LIMITS: There will be a 10 minute time limit between performance classes and a 5 minute time limit between halter classes. Please be prepared.

Spanish breeds-Azteca, Lusitano, Andalusian, Criollo, Lippizzan, Paso Fino, Spanish Mustang, Alter-Real, ETC

Stock breeds-Quarter horse, Appaloosa, Paint, Colorado Randgerbred, Mustand, Stock type color breeds, ETC

Gaited breeds-Saddlebred, Tennessee Walking Horse, Missouri Fox Trotter, Spotted Saddle Horse, Tiger, Walkaloosa, ETC

Sport/Carriage breeds-Thoroughbred, Standardbred, Hanoverian, Trakehner, Holsteiner, Selle Francais, Oldenburg, Akhal-Teke, Russian Trotter, Friesan, Cleveland Bay, ETC

Draft breeds-Clydesdale, Shire, Percheron, Belgian, American Cream Draft, Noriker, Breton, Boulonnais, ETC

Pony breeds-Miniature, Fell, Shetland, Welsh A/B, Dales, Dartmoor, Highland, Connemara, POA, Quarter pony, Haflinger, Fjord, Caspian, Galiceno, ETC
